BATUK

Batuk is a creative collective founded by South African electronic music producers Aero Manyelo and Spoek Mathambo; along with the prolific artist and vocalist Manteiga. The central function of Batuk is to use house music as a vehicle to connect the African diaspora based on shared and exchanged rhythm culture and language. From afrohouse to soul, from deephouse to traditional African elements. So far the project has done multi-disciplinary collaborations in South Africa, Mozambique and Uganda.

HIND HAKKI

Hind Hakki is a strong confident woman with a warm and gentle appearance. Her performance is powerful and fragile at the same time, a fascinating combination of social consciousness, determination and the street smart of a true MC. Hakki's live show, during which she delivers no-nonsense content without being overly confrontational, simply radiates. She’ll bring a warm fusion of hiphop, R&B and soul with Marroccan influences. Devoted to connection, Hakki's stage is her haven, the venue her home and the audience her new-found family.

SULTAN BOTANICO (DJ-SET)

DJ Sultan Botanico residing in Amsterdam is known from DJ duo Eaglemen. Open-minded as he his, he feels free to experiment with everything that ranges from 60’s brazil, afrobeat, Latin, Reggae, jazz, Hiphop and everything in between. The duo started 5 years ago with their weekly radioshow at Red Light Radio and from there they went to a lot of clubs and festivals as Lowlands, Pitch, Mysteryland, Valtifest, Solar, Dekmantel, and more cool venues and clubs around the country. He searches for obscure dusty tunes from all over the globe. On Thursday April 6th Sasa Ostoja a.k.a Sultan Botanico will represent the DJ duo before, in between and after the shows.
